COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING

Black Tie Affair, with a Twist

My clients wanted the classic country club wedding, but with a twist. Coming from the groom's Latin American heritage, they were looking for a way to incorporate tropical glamour with the just the right amount of vintage to be chic. My vision was a glamorous 1920s gala with gracious hints of a pale color palette.

I designed a style paying homage to a 1920s grand ballroom using pistachio, platinum, and crystal accents. Tables were dressed with tropical fruit and florals while oversized palm trees adorned the perimeter. Completed with a Sweetheart table in pale pink hues. Work was featured in The Connecticut Bride magazine in 1999.
